calicolorado is on a distinguished road
Beautiful weather this weekend...

In SoCal. Thought it was the perfect time to thoroughly go over our X5! Here's what I did:

Washed and clay barred the car
Polished with AutoGlym Supreme Car Polish all painted surfaces
Waxed with einszett Glanz
Cleaned and conditioned all black trim/tires with Autosmart Super Dressing
Cleaned interior surfaces with einszett Cockpit Premium
Conditioned all leather with Meguiar's
Used einszett Gummi Pfledge on all rubber trim and door gaskets

The wheels received a special cleaning a few weeks ago in which I removed them all, degreased, cleaned, polished and waxed them. It's much easier to keep them clean this way you might imagine. The style 58 wheels have grown on me, the tapering outer spokes creating nice, diffused shadows.

It's such a pleasure to clean a car like this. Sculptured, attractive surfaces are a feast for the eyes and hands...
