check the nozzle hasn't seperated from the pipe. Lift the bonnet and press the washer stalk and see whether you get a dump of water into the engine bay. If so simply click the nozzle back into the supply pipe, and then tie a cable wrap around it. What happens is the water in the supply pipe freezes and then pops the nozzle off the end. Putting a cable tie around it prevents this.
