yes, but where you live are you driving in snow all winter long? I doubt that. The Pirellis work very well in dry and wet conditions in addition to snow and they don't wear too quickly either. I have had them in deep snow and these are 265-50-19 size and they work just great - no issues. I run them 4 months of the year and sometimes even into April depending on the ski season. They work better in the rain than my wide summer tires and I'm always dressed for a trip up skiing when the storms come in since I'm a powder hound
