Depending on how bad the chip is, sometimes it is better not to use touch up paint. The paints never seem to really match causing it to look worse. Well, atleast that is from my own experience. I used it on my pheonix yellow M3 and to me, it stood out even more in the end. Just some food for thought.

I might be paranoid but I always touch up any chips because leaving them exposed might cause moisture/whatever to get under the paint and make the damage worse with additional peeling or flaking. If nothing else, if the chip is to the metal, you risk some oxidation. I think applying a little touch up paint is better than leaving it exposed.
