I ran Bontrager hardcase tires on the Trek, same concept as the Gatorskins with extra belts of protection. Although there were fewer flats, I just found them somewhat dead feeling, and harsh. I went to the Continental Gran Prix 4000, and haven't looked back. They are now on all our bikes. Fantastic tires IMO. Give them a try.
