IMO extended warranty companies are a pain to deal with--they eventually will start to make it harder to ok repairs. Go with a CPO. I went CPO and also got the extended maintenance for $2K (the brakes alone will be that much) + I got the tire warranty for $1K (I've had mine for 3 months and have already replaced 3 tires that had nails in them). My $.02.
