Hello all:

With my 2006 4.8is the bluetooth and/or my Blackberry 9000 is misbehaving.'

This started a few weeks ago, before which the phoe synced easily. Now when I turn the key on the Blackberry finds the BMW and then I get a long period of "loading phonebook" sometimes a few minutes (!!!!) and then everything works fine, but periodically it starts searching for the phone and then reloads the phonebook. Coming to work this morning (about a 15 minute trip) it did this 3 times.

Any ideas? Is it the Blackberry or the BMW BT? I am just outside the warranty period, so this is going to hurt! Is there anything I can test?

I tried turning off encryption on the Blackberry BT settings (which was suggested in another post), and that helped for a few days, then the problem returned. It seems to be happening more frequently, which suggests that something is about to fail.
