So when you tested the new pump, you just powered it up with positive and negative straight off the battery and the pump ran?

Both my old and new pumps do not run when wired directly- this must mean that I am unfortunate that my new pump also is no good- I have ordered a replacement- I shall test that too 2moro.

So just to be clear- when I remove the glove box, I just see the fuse box and no relays- Do I have to remove the fuse box behind the glove box to get to the fuel pump relay? do you know what colour it is?
