I don't deal with Tischer, but I am interested in whether dealers will actively market these parts, only offer them on request, or not offer them at all. I didn't see a reference on the Tischer parts site, so I went to realoem and got the part numbers for the inspection kits, and the front control arm package, all in the Value Line parts. All those part numbers came up on the Tischer site.

I saw one US outlet actively marketing them: BMW Mass, in Peabody Mass. I don't know anything about them, and am not recommending them. However, they show pads only for my (retired) 2003 X5 at $137, and $102 for the same pads in the Value Line, packaged complete with sensor. They are reported to be the same part number Pagid pads. Worth following up on for anybody buying parts for an E53 at their dealer. For those interested, the Value Line parts are also available for E46 and E39 models.
