I've had an X5 (loaded) which I sold about a year ago and also have a CTS-V sedan (my toy). Both are awesome cars in their own right. The american car is always easier to tinker with and has alot more "goodies" at reasonable prices - depending on what you want to do with it. Either one will not disappoint, but the third row in the X5 does get tight after a while and a bit of work to get in and out of.. especially when the kids start growing. I still have the "V" if that means anything.
