Since I have the same issues ill post my solutions I have tried as well. So far I have replaced the ignition switch, fuel filter and crank position sensor. once when it was on its no starting fits,I unplugged the maf to see it it were that, but still no start. My battery voltage was a healthy 12.6 v pre crank and 10.6 during cranking like normal, so it doesn't seem to be that. My battery is only 6 month old too.

I have the exact same symptoms as everyone else here with my 05 4.8.

My next approach is check the relays, look up the dme software and see if I need the upgrade, and check or replace the spark plugs. Then I'll look into cam sensors, fuel pump and new alternator.
