I agree that the the sentences one might receive for a DUI killing are a joke hence I guess I misunderstood what you were trying to say. And I don't think Christianity has anything to do with it therefore I share the same huh.

My larger point is that Carlson's opinion isn't over the top and he has every right to express it. It's an opinion shared by more than a few. If you remember what Vick actually did you might have a better understanding of where Carlson's coming from. If you were there to witness it or held one of those dogs in your arms you might actually agree with him.

All that said I don't think Vick should have been put to death. But he should have done a lot more than two years and he never should have been allowed to play in the NFL again. Just as anyone who commits a DUI death should (IMO) also do serious jail time and never be allowed to drive again.
