Dang Darwin! That is some nice iron you've got there. Obviously you're a 1911 connoisseur, not just a admirer. Everything you've done on them is great. I love the satin hard chrome finish for a carry gun. The 9mm 1911 is a very underrated gem of a configuration. The cheaper 9mm ammunition is a big draw and that's why I recently bought a, gasp, Glock 19. I'm not a big Glock guy but they do the job well and I got it pretty cheap.

1911s are an addiction. I just recently got my first one after 20 something years of pistol ownership and I'm already looking forward to my next one. I was never all that comfortable with single action, especially as a carry gun but decided to make the change when it became a viable option for carry. (Authorization to carry 1911s came recently.) I don't think I will ever be without a 1911 now. Next one: Probably a 5" model for range use. If I can get a bobtail semi-custom for carry I'd be all over it.
