That's the first thing I noticed
. Cold weather means there is more moisture in the gas. You let that tank run that low, all sorts of bad stuff try to get into your engine. I shutter when I get below half, in the winter those gas tanks stay above 3/4. Maybe just me being weird.
I cleaned my engine with P21s All purpose cleaner; engine looked fantastic!!! belt started to squeek ever so slightly. Took me a few days to narrow it down. Baby powder on it and all is well now.
