the bmw kit is the one that was fitted to my m sport. However it only covers part of the rear doors, rear arch flares and back of the cills. Nothing on the front doors at all which also had to be completely painted. You know i had a discovery 3 before that we owned for 2 years and when i traded it in it only had a couple of chips on the car. Do you really want to spend so much on a car and smother it in plastic film to stop it chipping. I think the problem should be engineered out by bmw. I changed from the disc 3 as i was worried about long term build quality, into a car that unfortunately looked and drove really well, but the stone chipping problems are a complete joke. I have a little bmw convertible that is fine, no chips etc. I really am surprised by bmw stance being happy to paint cars all over the place, but refusing to accept there is a problem. But if you guys are happy to have yours wrapped in plastic then so be it, regards, Chris.
