Not really. Once a module like that is programmed to a vehicle it is "married" to that vehicle. BMW's software programming system doesn't really let us get around that, just kicks out of the programming session telling us to change the offending module. I'm sure there may be some way around that, but it would take someone knowing how to work around that... which I don't. (I've never had a reason to really)

And it also depends on the year, engine, transmission model used basically as the later trannys have the module built into the valve body inside the transmission.

The member that knows the most about non-standard programming is killcrap. Who is also a dealer tech and has much more knowledge and experience with non-standard programming techniques, custom encoding and vehicle order modifications.
