That's relative mate, we (in the UK) don't have them but we have KFC and Mcdonalds, they are not in the POI list either.

Alos, it's probably because they are not restaurants, they are fast food, you cant really expect a world wide company to compile all the fast food joints in the USA and put it on the map disc?? that would be a herculean task.

It is, but they are mostly high class and well off sort of places (i've never used it TBH).

Why not add them (you own places) to your map disc mate, I added all the KFC, mcdonalds and pizzahut locations (for the UK) on my disc and it works perfectly.

Really?, do they not show every restaurant with in a (say) 5m range of where you are now? and can you not search by name (I'm pretty sure I can).
