It is unreasonable and far too expensive for all of us for any manufacturer to investigate and modify all vehicles of a certain model for a problem that does not appear to be widespread or repeatable.
I don't think there is any evidence that X5s catch on fire any more than any other model of vehicle. I think we just notice it if it is the model we own.
