I know what you mean, but I have to say, if you spent money on the PS3 and GT5, you NEED to get the wheel. It is not an option, imo. It is SO much better. I really couldn't imagine playing with the regular remote at this point. It is a whole different game with a wheel and pedal set.
Actually, you just bought a new house and are doing a lot of work around there, so do NOT get the wheel set. I repeat, do NOT get the wheel set. You won't get anything done for the next few months if you do.
