Wayne's World is on a distinguished road
Last night we had about 3inches of snow. Then on top of that freezing rain. After driving onto my driveway, I got out and felt te surface and there was a thick layer of ice on top of all the snow. The roads had been plowed but still very slushy and freezing rain coming down.

The tires performed superbly. Inspired much confidence. Leaving my neighborhood I go down a pretty steep hill (steep enough that once I couldn't get up in heavy snow with decent tires) and at the bottom is a stop sign. Right there is where I always slide. not this time. Calm, mannered stop. Abs didn't kick on either. Driving along, I drive alongside a creek and its always colder and rarely plowed. Today it was and was very slushy. I did 45 there and felt comfortable. There is another 90 degree turn at an intersection that is banked just right and the rear end always slips. At this point I was feeling like a superhero so I didn't slow down much (still doing around 15mph) and I did feel the back end get squirmy but by no means did I feel like I was losing control or the rear was coming around.

Up a little further on an overpass getting onto the highway, I had once lost control on some black ice and I saw it there today. Its just as I enter the turn. I drove through it cautiously at about 15mph and sped up a bit as I went around the 180 degree turn as I know I hae a tendency to lose the back end a little there. It was perfect. No slipping.

On the highway (speed limit 55), I felt very comfortable. Wheels felt planted and steering connected. After a few miles of playing it safe and crossing over slush covered lane markers a few times, I picked up the pace and was doing 65 for about 10 miles.

I feel very comfortable with these tires and would recommend them.
