That isn't all a bad thing, X5World (now Xoutpost) was first populated by a group of refugees from another forum in 2005. N54tech is a little different IMO though. E90post is one source if you want to see the history of the disputed claims by various tuners.

Thought I'd chime in here... Your 'only comment' is correct. However, to me, it comes across very misleading. There's no need to bring this up in a discussion about a JBD.
As a longtime member of e90post and n54tech I'm very well aware of the politics that went on - most of it behind the scenes of e90post. You will NEVER find any 'creative moderating' on n54tech unlike e90post which deletes threads and posts on a dialy basis. Members of Xoutpost can be confident that if they go to n54tech to learn more about the JBD that they will find 100% accurate & truthful information from Terry and all its other members.
As to this discussion; there's a lot of blanket statements here. Which, if I didn't know the JBD better, I would agree with. I've been using tunes from BMS in my cars for almost 4 years now. (JB2, JB3 and now the JB4) I personally know a happy & well informed JBD user. There is no secret how any of BMS's tunes operate. Its all on the forum. They are designed be safe and fun.
To anybody considering BMS products... Do some research and ask some questions on n54tech. I am positive you will get informative and honest answers to all your questions from Terry and all the other members.
