I too have SCC (security chain) cables in my car. Except they are the brand new ones I bought 10 years ago for the MDX and never used!

In case they ask to see if I have 'traction control devices'.

Like I said, you get R1/R2 chain control here in CA with each and every storm... I've only seen R3 twice in 28 years. (They usually just close the road.)

SCC has some interesting products that are pretty low profile too.
