Looks like the washers either side of the subframe bush will hold it in place even if it's totally shot, so not at all obvious if there's a problem. I'll assume they need replacing. I'll give all the hinges and latches a blast of grease tonight anyway.
I've been researching prices and for the thrust arms I'm really torn - you can buy complete arms with bushes already fitted, making it a really easy job, but that seems wasteful when there will be nothing wrong with the actual arms. Close to £100 each for Lemforder arms is a lot when a pair of Powerflex bushes are £60. How hard are they to press in ? Will a bench vice do it ? Even paying a garage to press them in it sounds like it would be a much cheaper option.
Kinda the same with the rears - with pattern parts (£120/set) I need to rent or buy the special tool, but Powerflex (£260/set) I can cut the old ones out and press the new ones in myself to save some money on the tool.
