Well, that's my point exactly! Mercedes is struggling right now. (I'm not talking DaimlerChrysler, which is financially doing "OK" due to the success of Dodge and their truck divisions.) They have some serious quality issues, and they just announced the biggest recall in their history. They are not even in the top ten in quality, beaten by the likes of Hunday and <gasp> Chevrolet. They also just announced that they would delay the launch of the B Class due to the weak dollar (or strong Euro, really) which makes the car too expensive. The A-Class, which was never brought here, had roll-over issues. The Mercedes name has taken a beating in the last three years or so. I just hope the motorwerks avoids that.
