I can't see how it would do so. The aero kit is primarily a style kit IMO, but what real aprons/diffusers/etc are designed to do is to aid downforce and manage airflow under the body of the vehicle, they won't impact the low pressure zone behind the vehicle. That is simply a function of the X5 being shaped like a brick, and it would take a streamliner tail section to change it.
