well... I brought my car in back in mid december for an oil service and for them to check the self-leveling suspension msg that popped 2 days earlier. It was reset as I was told the cold weather may make the msg appear and that's what their service manual says.

Of course the msg came on again and I brought it back in on dec 28th... dealer had to wait for a part from germany to come... 3 1/2 weeks later.. I get a call saying my truck is ready... the SA drives it up to me up from... lo and behold.. SELF LEVELING SUSPENSION INACT msg AAAAGAIN!!! the SA told me before I got it that it came back on and he wants the tech to check it again... So I wait about 15 min... then he comes back to me and says that the shop foreman doesn't feel comfortable letting me drive my truck back by just him resetting it... They still have my truck and no words from them

Is it an unusual problem hard to fix? I mean thank God they provided me with a loaner but I love my X5 and I would hope they can fix it. It's an 05 4.8is with CPO coverage until mid march. Will the warranty be extended since they're taking so long to fix my truck?
