yeah, i found out the hard way. i did find one for sale and just ordered it with new firmware loaded. i did notice a company out in cali that fixes them a guy by the name of fred he seemed to know what he was talking about. just very expensive i noticed in the parts book that bmw listed it for 1350. so besides never getting a dead battery is there something to do to avoid this problem again?
