Bruce, as some stated above....what's the chances that some of this is related to your accident? You did have a front end crash and if I were you, I'd call the insurance adjuster and have them come look at the X again. It's not too late to turn in a supplemental claim partner. As for the brand and the 4.6is / 4.8is models in particular, you have gotta know by now that these aren't cheap fixes. While you are disappointed today, when it's running as advertised I'm sure you grin from ear to ear with enjoyment. I remember the history of your 4.6is and what I'll tell you is this, I owned 2 E53's......a 4.4i and a 4.6is. While both were under some type of warranty, it's still important to have a good relationship with your service team.
