Yes, all of those things are bad and I would think it would be prone to many more problems and breakage. Pointless and stupid.

Continued frustration with Sprint not offering any good handsets (other than the gigantic Evo 4G). I am seriously thinking about jumping to Verizon. Since Sprint is adding $10 for the Evo 4G and any other cool phones that purportedly enjoy 4G service so my plan will go up $20 for two lines. I get a discount from Verizon from work (20%, I think) so I'll pay more but we can get on the iPhone bandwagon.

It all stinks. We're really pretty much prisoners of our cell phone companies unless you go off the grid and ditch the technology for a roll of coins and a very short list of nearby payphones.
