This comes up weekly...my rec'd is pick it up in daylight/good weather and make sure you have set aside plenty of time vs. getting dropped off,
grabbling car and driving home in the dark to show the neighbors.
Spend all the time you need with the sales guy, and avoid becoming emoted over a new car. Stoicism is your friend.
