Hi,

I am new to this forum but hope someone here can help me out. My car started dropping clean pools of oil on the garage floor. Looknig into the engine bay I saw oil over the alternator, lower block area and oil pan. I read a lot about valve cover gaskets leaking so even though there was only a little oilly residue around the area I changed it anyway. Next day more oil on the floor. I really can't see where it is coming from but guess it is on the high pressure side somewhere because the oil seems to spray over the whole area.

Any ideas of typical areas where this engine leaks oil. I heard about an oil seperator issue but think that is only on the older motors. One thing I know is it is on the drivers side towards the front.

Any advice appreciated.
