So funny I came across this thread.

I declined the Tire Protection because I didn't see the point in it (55k in 2 years and no flat tires)

My 4.8i has the Sport pkg but doesn't have the upgraded tires but does have RFT's (not a fan)

So I was quite thrilled when the TPM message came on last week and I had to replace my right rear tire due to a nail

I'm planning to swap out all 4 tires next year with non-RFT's because the tread life/cost just doesn't make sense to me
