I don't get any SES error, just DTC errors as read by a diagnostic tool.

The car is fast, but then it is a 4.4 V8, so even if it's not working at 100% it would be hard to tell without a back to back comparison. My friends car is a 4.6iS so we'd expect it to be much faster.
