If that is what is going to happen, and I fully expect it to given Sprint's $10 4G surcharge and how the competition goes, then I too am fine with 3G. I can also see the possibility of ending unlimited data like AT&T.

I totally agree. One of the reasons I went with iPhone 4 was that my other option was an Evo 4G and that thing is massive. It's not even comfortable in the hand. The form factor of the current iPhone is excellent. Even going to a 4" will take some of the good feeling the current version offers.
