Why the confusion? Recaro office chairs are pretty nice, and you can get them very much like the BMW sport seats. Full adjustment, many fabrics and leathers, etc. I prefer the Aeron, but the Recaros are comfortable. The challenge to build one out of a BMW seat is that you would need legs, a support, arms, and a power supply.
