I'm not sure the exact reason why, but i think to clear those codes after disconnecting the battery, you need to drive it down the road. AS long as they are off, and stay off, then i would not be worried at all. Everytime you start the car, it sends a signal through all the functions to make sure they work correctly. You should be fine!
