Hi Jcl, what i ment was that i took the x5 to the rolling road and i witnessed just the rear wheels moving and the front wheels were not. a minute later, all four wheels were working then a minute later just the rear wheels.

i contacted my local bmw garage and they said you have to set it permanently to the 4wd.
i want to do this but dont know how to.
