Yes, but Range Rover still didn't source their tailgate from BMW, either in the metal or the concept, regardless of the shared tailgate hardware of the current generation Range Rover and E53. And, either way, as I keep on saying, Range Rover had a horizontally-split tailgate 30 years before BMW had an SUV. Remember, BMW owned Range Rover for five years or so (could be six) before the E53 appeared.
