Alright, after having one for a while. I travel alot and the reason I bought mine was to be able to watch movies on a bigger screen. And I enjoy reading, so I have a lot of books on it. Those are the two main reasons that I use it. One other is for work, we have a website that we log water analysis. And on the ipad it's easy, convenient and fits inside my test kit.
That being said, it will never replace my laptop. I am far more productive on the laptop than the ipad. They are two very different machines. I am not sure if we will ever figure out what the purpose is for the ipad.
