Fitment issues I have no comment on since I dont have one. Plenty of people had nothing but good things to say, lately the last few have had complaints. That either leaves a construction mistake or even something like the interior differences between 99-02 and 03-up E53 body style changes.
No one forced you to buy this, so as the saying goes...if you can do it better, then do it.

You really think a .250" is going to make a difference in air space? Wow.....
Most shallow woofer only require a 3" mount depth you can distribute air space anywhere in that compartment enough room.....
No forced me no..... But your cant rate a food you never tried...... Sheet rock screws already discredit your ability...
He did use sealer but its riddled with screws making hard to modify and mount... My sub cutout was even cut to 10" dia...obviously conat mount a sub to that..... Its junk
