I'm anxious to hear how you accomplished this. I tried numerous times, including a hard reset to my Treo, but couldn't get it to connect. It would find the vehicle, but never establish a connection. I have an '05 X5, and I'm pretty sure my Bluetooth module is the -993, which was installed as a warranty replacement a few months ago.

Plus, the included MS Voice Command software, which is great otherwise, does not work via a Bluetooth headset. The combination of not working in the vehicle and having no voice dialing via Bluetooth is a deal killer.

Of course, if your instructions can help me get it to work, then maybe I'll keep it. Otherwise, I'll be back on the road with my Cingular Nokia 6682.
