When a police car tails me, I just turn off somewhere (petrol station, parking lot, residental area, anywhere) and let them bother someone else.
In Virginia: the nicer the weather (esp. weekends), the more police. Oh, and food is taxed at 9%-11% so don't be surprised if that fast food costs more than expected.
