Hey thanks!
So can't replace just the temp sensor on the 6HP26? If it goes, do you have to get the entire mechatronic unit?
I'm getting ready to change the trans fluid & filter, etc and a very good local Bimmer shop said change the temp sensor while you're in there...they tend to go out and cause problems. He might have thought I had the 5 speed.
That sounds bothersome if my trans temp sensor eventually does go out, though....
