Dwhite, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Anyways, follow the procedures sheet. On the installation page, it says the compare the old CCV to the new one. So you are going to remove that vacuum hose on the old one and install on the new one. Now this part isn't mentioned on my DIY but, take a set of pliers and remove that rubber plug on the old CCV, transfer it onto the new one. Those yellow tabs are security clips. Just uncoil them and slip them on the new CCV and you are all done. As for which CCV you have, there werent any distinguishing part numbers that I knew of separating the cold version and regular version.
