It's far better looking in the metal that the E83 X3, IMO. Its general proportions are more like an E53 even if the detail is quite different. The 190kW/560Nm 30d sounds like a bit of a rocket (0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds) but it's still a month or two away. I was very impressed by the 20d I drove even if 135kW and 380Nm sounds a long way from the 30d's figures. It would do me for general driving as there are no traffic-lights out here!
The 28i (three-litre petrol six) looks like a stop-gap engine to me and probably won't be around all that long with the turbo four-cylinder petrol engines in the pipeline.
