Here is the endpiece parts that I got for my 2001 X5 V8. I put them on to the pipe right beside jack spot without jack up the SAV. It did not do a thing for me. If I am wrong on the location of evaporator drain pipe, please let me know.

The best way to describ the location is as if you are standing under the SAV when it has being lifted up, then point out relative location to your driver side front tire. Something like 2ft left of driver side front tire and then 3 feet toward back. Waiting for the experts....
