I just had my rear brakes done and after a week of the Check Brake Lining indicator came back on. Took it back to the mechanic & he installed a false sensor for me to drive on for a month or so. If the check lining message doesn't come back, we know it was faulty sensor. If it does come back, we knew it was another issue. Well today, 2 weeks after they installed false sensor, the check brake indicator message came back. Any ideas? If it was the pinched wire issue JAH1 had, I shouldnt have been able to drive for 2 weeks trouble free right?
