If the rear brakes have been changed, the car stops fine, and your emergency brake holds, you have nothing to worry about.

If the check brake indicator came back on, replace the sensor. If you are ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE the sensor has been replaced, you probably have an issue with the wiring on the car itself.

The check brake message does not affect the functionality of the braking system. It's there to notify the driver that their brake pads have worn down to the point that requires replacement. If you serviced your brakes and disconnected your brake sensors, the indicator would come on but your brakes would be fully functional.
