I would get the plain rotors, and those have a one year warranty. That isn't as good as OE.
The pad warranty only covers defects. There is no service life warranty.
Check out the restrictions on the rotor materials warranty (which is lifetime) - Limited to structural failure.
- Does not cover zinc plating, rusting, wear, or tear
- One warranty claim per customer
- Doesn't cover shipping
If the rotors crack, you are covered for a year. But if they have a poor surface finish, if you get uneven pad deposition and a pulsing pedal (which isn't warping), if you have noisy brakes, all of that isn't covered.
The warranty isn't that bad, but it isn't as good as I get from my local suppliers, or my dealer.
