I was able to connect with the vehicle. However, both incoming and outgoing calls were erratic. Most often, it would connect for 30-45 seconds and then revert to the handset.

The address book did not transfer ( I'd rather it did not, with 700 contacts), but the speed dials did transfer to the vehicle.

That's an improvement over my earlier experience last weekend, but the whole situation just seems too unstable. Consequently, I'm sending this Treo back.

I'll stick with my Cingular Nokia 6682 for now. I think my next phone will be the Sony P990 when it comes out. A friend of mine has a p910a and except for the phone book transfer, it works perfectly with my X5. The 990 will be the next leap forward for that device and the previews look great.

X54.4blue, are you able to make/receive calls reliably? And, have you been able to use your vehicle's voice command to make calls?
